Our chef Richard Sclater is five star trained and has over 25 years experience of working in busy kitchens.
Richard has produced a traditional home cooked bistro menu with a la carte specials and children's dishes which is served six nights a week.
This bistro menu has a wide selection of pub favourites such as steak in ale pie, fresh battered haddock, chicken tikka and gammon steak.
You may dine in either of our two bars, or alternatively in the more intimate Victorian panelled restaurant.
Our regularly updated special boards provide you with additional choice to our customary menu. We also specialise in small to medium sized parties be it buffet or sit down meal.
Copies of our set menus or hot or cold buffet menus are available on request. If you have any special catering needs we will strive to try and meet them.
